Dr Adam Montgomery studied at Queen’s University Belfast, before completing his foundation years in South London Deanery. He subsequently completed his Core Psychiatry Training at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, where he is undertaking further specialist training.

Dr Montgomery benefits from experience in the management and diagnosis of a wide range of mental health conditions, inclusive of psychotic and affective disorders, OCD, ADHD, ASD, eating disorders and a range of personality disorders.

Dr Montgomery’s specific interests include Psychotherapy, and the effect of socio-cultural factors on mental illness. He has contributed to scientific literature, publishing in peer reviewed journal and scientific textbooks. He has additionally co-facilitated an extra-curricular Psychiatry programme for King’s
College London medical students, and has a PGCert qualification from King’s College London. Outside of work, his interests include travel, ancient and modern history, cooking, and Bob Dylan.
