Dr Alexandra Antonesei

Dr Antonesei works in the NHS primary care and private practice with clients with a wide range of psychological problems, including early abuse, trauma and personality disorders; procrastination, low mood, depression, and complicated grief; stress/worries and anxiety; addictions; burnout; psychological problems related to long-term medical conditions; adjustment difficulties related to migration/immigration.
She has specialist training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT). She also has an interest in third wave therapies, e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy.
In her private work with Harley Psychiatrists, Dr Antonesei is experienced at providing skilled assessment and psychological treatment for adult clients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
She approaches each client with patience, empathy and kindness and is committed to bring relief to their emotional and psychological struggles.
